MYOB Cheque Printing and the new requirements
There will be a new standard cheque format for Canada as required by the Canadian Payments Association, the organisation that defines the standards for all banks in Canada. The introduction period for the new standards has already begun for personal cheques. You may have seen some. However, the period for business introduction runs to July 1, 2007.
There are solutions available for changing the cheque format in MYOB to the new form. Contact Michael H. Storoszko, CGA for the expertise in making these changes.
If you are planning to buy more cheque forms this year, you may want to change your format at that time. After July 1, 2007 the old format will not be accepted by the banks.
